Pole TentsPole tents are the most traditional form of marquee and originally had huge canvas roofs and walls with lots of space needed to accomodate the guy ropes and pegs. These traditional pole tents are still available to hire but tend to be used more at agricultural shows and basic events.There are now modern versions of the traditional pole tent available to hire and these keep a lot of the character of the tent whilst utilising modern materials to create marquees fit for all occassions.
 Features of Modern Pole Tents• These marquees have the beautiful curved 'swooping' lines of the classic English garden party marquee. They are ideal for romantic traditional weddings, formal garden parties or any event where period style or a little extra elegance is called for.• Like classic marquees, they have supporting poles inside the marquee which can be decorated with ribbons, flowers etc. • Again, like classic marquees, our traditional-style tents are erected with straps and pegs. But unlike classic marquees, they do not need huge amounts of space. Thanks to modern technology, only 7' extra space is required around the marquee for the straps and pegs.
